The Benelli M4 T-Pro 18.5″ is a semi-automatic shotgun and the fourth and final model in the well-known Benelli Super 90 series. It uses Benelli’s ARGO (Auto Regulating Gas Operated) system, a gas-operated mechanism developed specifically for the M4 in 1998. In 1998, the US military was looking for a new 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun. After extensive testing, the Benelli M4 won the competition and was selected for military service. Today, the Benelli M4 is used not only by the US military but also by law enforcement agencies in Italy, the United Kingdom and other countries.
